As an Intermediate Business Analyst, you will join a team of dedicated individuals, seeking the right solutions for our clients to support their vision, projected growth, and desired customer experience.

We are looking for an individual with 3-7+ years experience as a business analyst. This person is autonomous, takes initiative and has experience to  share but is also passionate to learn from the team and become a reference in their field.

The expectations for the role include:

  • Support IT Strategy and Software Selection client mandates
  • Understand the business processes and needs; Document the business and system requirements that address these needs
  • Translate complex technical details into simple terms for an executive audience to understand
  • Express requirements at different levels of abstraction, using visual
    representations as required
  • Maintain business stakeholders actively engaged and focused on identifying what needs to be achieved
  • Communicate and present concrete solutions
  • Advise clients on ways to improve and innovate, taking into account human impacts as well as technology
  • Help define and implement key business analysis methodologies, processes and tools
  • Structure and assist in user acceptance testing
  • Based in Montreal, some travel may be required
  • Full time position

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in a role bridging IT and business
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a strong expertise in one or more of the following areas:
    • Supply chain and logistics
    • Manufacturing
    • Retail
    •  Public/Parapublic/Not-for-profit
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and facilitation skills
  • Fluently bilingual (English/French) spoken and written
  • Business analysis certification (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA), an asset
  • Experience with ESSOR/Audit 4.0 (Quebec) and CDAP (Canada) programs, an asset
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of PC productivity tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (Expert knowledge in the utilization of Excel is preferred)
  • Proven ability to identify and formalize business needs, convert them into instances of use cases, user stories and/or test cases
  • Solid problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical and information processing skills
  • Ability to work with stakeholders of different levels of engagement and achieve consensus. Ability to influence, persuade and initiate change in different environments
